Spotlights
Spotlights are a versatile way of lighting your home. Spots can introduce a very sleek, stylish and atmospheric lighting scenario which works very well in a variety of interior styles. They complement modern and contemporary spaces but also bring a little extra flair to more traditional older homes.
They can add a unique character to any room and when used thoughtfully, they can create soft pools of diffused light whilst at the same time introducing a bright beam of light designed to bring a point of focus to any area of interest within the room.
The light reflected from a wall will be coloured by the surface the light hits. This indirect lighting adds contrast to any room. If you are trying to create subtle targeted lighting or are looking to update your design, one of our spotlights could be just what you need.
Multiple Head Spot Lighting
Unlike general lighting that is designed to illuminate the whole room, spotlights give a directional beam of light that is very useful when used in combination with other fittings. For example, a spotlight bar with multiple heads can be adjusted to direct the light onto kitchen worktops, a feature chimney breast or almost anything else you want to highlight.
They are perfect used singly to pick out wall features from a distance and can be a subtle way of achieving a lovely warm effect. You can be selective about which areas you want to light and focus brightness on important areas, or create a maze of scattered illumination in a room.
Stunning shadows can be created when a spotlight is used to shine light vertically, either up or downwards to highlight a structural aspect of your home such as exposed beams, a bay or alcove that has limited lighting. You can use their directional nature to your advantage with a little planning and thought.
All ceiling spotlights are low profile and don’t drop very much. This can make a stylish spotlight bar or plate a great choice for lighting rooms with a low ceiling.
